Menace of stray dogs in city

Today I read an article in newspaper that there are around 40,000 stray dogs in the city and approx 20 persons are bitten by dogs everyday.... which is really bad and indicate how risky is that - when you know that dog bite can be life threatening.
I don't understand the reason behind favoring stray dogs by various animal lovers and Meneka Gandhi.....when they become a real menace and life threatening
Many bikers have accidents and get injured as these dogs chase and scare them...
If this is so scary situation for adults - what about kids, many kids have left lost their life when some stray dogs attacked on them....

I really don't understand - why animal lovers don't stop killing of Goats, buffalo, pigs.... or they just love dog, cats and monkey only !!! or all animals don't have equal rights - some need to be pampered, even if they hurt someone and some to give life to become tasty non-veg food.

I heard in some part of Assam and Nagaland people eat dog meat, the rule of not killing dog not applicable for them!!!
I see this as just to gain an political image some group of people even don't hesitate to put citizens in danger.
I am bit concerned what will happen if someone like Meneka will come in protection of cockroach :)

Navi Mumbai on bharat bandh

Effect of bandh was seen too much in Navi Mumbai n Mumbai
> No auto rikshaw, taxi on road
> Hardly any bus of Best & NMMT on road
> All patrol pump were closed
> No shop except medical store were found open
I took a ride on my during bandh and clicked few snaps
Mumbai looks good when there is no much crowd or traffic on road
Don't this in anyway will help to increase pricing
